1. What are you mixed with?
I'm half Portuguese, half Mozambican. I'm also mixed with Indian and Greek (from my grandparents)

Qual é a tua mestiçagem?

Bem, eu sou Luso-Moçambicana (pai português, mãe moçambicana) tenho um pouco de sangue indiano e grego da parte dos meus avós (o meu 3º nome é Klironomos xD)

2. What ethnicity have you often been mistaken for?
I've been mistaken for Angolan and Brazilian.

Já foste confundida com qual etnia?

Normalmente pensam que sou Angolana ou Brasileira.

3. Is your hair curly or straight?
 Curly

O teu cabelo é encaracolado ou liso?

Encaracolado

4. Was coming from different backgrounds challenging growing up?
Sometimes. Mostly due to other people's ignorance.

Ter um passado etnico tornou o teu crescimento mais dificil?

Em algumas ocasiões. Maioritáriamente devido á ignorancia de outras pessoas.

5. Which backgrounds do you embrace the most?
Both. I live in Portugal and work in a Mozambican place ;) best of both worlds.

Com qual passado etnico te identificas mais?

Os dois, moro em Portugal e trabalho num sitio moçambicano, o melhor dos dois mundos ;)

6. Have you ever been teased for being different?
Yes.

Já alguma vez fizeram pouco de ti por seres diferente?

Sim.

7. Have you ever been ashamed of being multi-racial?
 Never.

Já alguma vez tiveste vergonha de ser multi-racial?

 Nunca.

8. Do you feel that being mixed has its benefits?
Of course! for example, natural tan ;P

Sentes que ser mestiça tem os seus benefícios?

Claro! Por exemplo, moreno natural ;P

9. What makes being multiracial a beautiful thing?
 You get to embrace several cultures and grow up with wider horizonts, plus in my case, god food from both my backgrounds (that's always a plus right?)

O que é que faz com que ser multi-racial seja algo maravilhoso?

Temos o privilégio de abraçar várias culturas e crescer com horizontes mais alargados, com um extra de boa culinária de ambos os lados (isso é sempre um bom extra não é?)

10. Any advice to someone who struggles with their multiracial identity?
Just don't be afraid of being yourself, embrace who you are, and don't give a crap about what other people say. If they tease you it is because you there is something about you, that they wish they had and can't have. -Yeah that's it :D 

Tens algum conselho para alguem que tenha dificuldades com o facto de ser multi-racial?

Não tenhas medo/vergonha de ser tu própria, reconhece e ama quem tu és e não ligues ao que os outros dizem. Se fizerem pouco de ti,não ligues, se o fazem é porque vêem em ti algo que eles não podem ter/ser e têm inveja :P - acho que é só :D
